Introducing the Venture Academy
The first installment of the Venture Academy with a week-long Basic Training course will take place March 23-28, 2009 at Camp Marymount in the beautiful hills of middle Tennessee just outside of Fairview, Tennessee (west of Nashville.) Registration is now open.

The 6-day Basic Training curriculum (all with a Biblical worldview) includes lectures, Harvard Business School case studies, and workshops on various topics including: sales, marketing, accounting, finance, business law, human resources, business planning, business communications, operations, technology, and customer service -- a total of 40 sessions in all.
The Basic Training event includes group dorm-style accommodations, group meals and study group preparation each evening for the business case discussions the next day, all to foster a strong network and deep relationships with other like-minded believers who desire to become entrepreneurs or improve their skills in the running of their own business.
The program includes meals and lodging; case materials; numerous document, presentation and business template downloads; and access to the audio and video of every class for later personal use. The program also includes 2 one-hour conference calls/webinars and up to 4 hours of personal one-on-one consulting from New Venture Lab by phone or email during the following year.
We are also planning other courses on topics such as Growing Your Company, Buying a Company, etc., but the intent of this course is to lay a strong foundation for Christian entrepreneurship. The Basic Training course is a prerequisite for future, more advanced courses of instruction.
