A Seven Year-Old's View of Entrepreneurship

The Big Pig, by seven year-old Eleni, the daughter of one of our Venture Academy students:

Part 1 - The big pig works at a Mexican restaurant.  The boss is mad at him because the big pig ate all of the chips.  Now there are no chips for the customers.  The boss said "you are fired."  Said the boss," you are fired."

Part 2 - The big pig was sad.  He said "what can I do?"  He went to the New Venture Lab Venture Academy, started a business called www.pigchips.com and sold the idea to Frito Lay.

Part 3 - The big pig went to visit his mama.  On the way, he met a very nice girl pig.  After he visited his mama and asked his mama if it was OK, he went to visit the very nice girl pig's daddy.  The very nice girl pig's daddy thought that the big pig was very nice.  After seeing the big pig's residual income statement from the Frito Lay deal, the very nice girl pig's daddy said "yes."  After they got married, they went on a tour in the Mediterranean highlighting the missionary journeys of St. Paul.

Part 4 - When they got to the isle of Patmos, they liked it so much they decided to stay and start a potato ranch.  The exported their potatoes to Frito Lay, Inc. and made a tidy sum.  Many piglets came and a generation of oinktrepreneurs was born.  The family started a non-profit called Oinktrepreneurs serving the population of Patmos and spreading the good news of Oinktrprenerism and family discipleship.

The End.*

* In case you are overcome with curiosity about the big pig's daddy, he died in a battle against the racoons.

Entrepreneurship? Eleni should have an older sibling draw up some illustrations and find a publisher. :)
