New Venture Lab Member AgStrong Wins Whole Foods Supplier Award

I was pleased to get the call recently from New Venture Lab member Robert Bruce Davis that his company, AgStrong, was awarded the Whole Foods Market Outstanding Innovator Award, one of only ten supplier awards announced this week. 

For many New Venture Lab members, AgStrong will be a familiar name as we featured them a few years ago in my blog post New Venture Lab Successfully Raises Venture Capital for NVL Member after I raised a round of venture capital financing for the company.

In addition, AgStrong was one of only two of the ten award winners that Whole Foods elected to produce a video documentary to highlight at the awards ceremony. Some of the footage will look familiar as we gave them access to our raw footage to help them quickly produce the video just hours ahead of the ceremony.

And if that is not enough, Whole Foods has just informed the company that AgStrong's new branded cooking oil line named Solio will be carried in all Whole Foods stores. Look for the AgStrong Solio canola and sunflower oil at a Whole Foods near you.
