New Venture Lab: Equipping Christian Entrepreneurs

New Venture Lab member Andrew Zwart (see Andrew's VentureNetwork profile here) recently won an Ontario-wide Engineering Innovative Design Competition and will now advance to compete in the Canadian-wide competition.  He will also be entering a technical entrepreneurship competition and will be meeting with the Ontario Centers of Excellence for the best kind of funding of all: grants with no strings attached.

Andrew and his teammates invented Virtual Button Technology (VBT), which combines several well-developed mechanical engineering and computer science principles with emerging consumer electronics technologies.  Through the use of micro-sensors and vibrational mechanics, the patent-pending VBT provides value-added functionality to electronic devices.
