Last year, nearly 1,000 contestants submitted detailed plans for how they would use a slug of nourishing capital to take their businesses to new heights. Five gutsy finalists made their cases before a distinguished panel of judges and millions of Forbes readers. Grand prize for the determined winner: a nice, round $100,000. Think you have what it takes to bag that bundle? Then start honing your elevator pitch and sharpening those financial projections, because the road to victory is long.
