Age Group for the Venture Academy
Question
I'm in my early 50's. Will the academy be oriented to a younger age group? It would be difficult to attend this year, but what I have read is of interest to me.Answer
The Venture Academy Basic Entrepreneurship Training course is geared for all ages and the content is at the MBA level and post-MBA level, so mature, experienced men will actually benefit the most as they can add their experience to the content and more clearly see the application.
Young men will benefit as well as they hear, in many cases for the first time, about key business processes and principles that the curriculum draws from the Harvard MBA program, top management consulting firms and real-life entrepreneurial experience.
In terms of not being able to attend this particular course, we plan on offering the course once or more per year, Lord willing and depending upon demand, so please check back with us for future course date announcements. We also plan additional courses on advanced sales and marketing, advanced accounting and finance, and business planning to name a few.
In terms of the registration mix by age, 53% of our registrants are currently men over 22 years old (most of them are middle aged), 36% are students, aged 16 - 22 and 11% are under 16 (sons attending with their fathers.)

I'm 53 and going through it with my 24 year old son. While I may know more of what is being taught, we are both learning together, sharing together. In the end its about how to do business, which transcends age.
Enjoy!
