Question

How do you maintain enthusiasm/creativity/vision when you are tired, or discouraged?

Answer

All entrepreneurs will experience many failures, such as losing key customers, losing key employees, making major mistakes in the markets, introducing new products that fail, and even shutting down a business.  These are Davidic moments that should drive the entrepreneur to the Lord to seek guidance and to family and friends for encouragement and support.  I personally like to read the Psalms of David and cry out with him for deliverance when I am at a low point.  Also, I am blessed with an incredible wife that is very supportive and with whom I share everything openly and honestly.  She is very smart and very business savvy and is my most important business confidant.  We spend at least an hour per day just visiting at the end of the day and syncing up on everything from business to the children.
