Record Keeping at Launch

Question

My wife is starting an online business. How do we find a God honoring structure in keeping records of everything, because right now we have no guidelines?  We are just winging it and we are not organized.

You could start with a very basic Excel spreadsheet to track Revenue, Expenses, and Income (and once logged in, keep all receipts in a shoe box).  If the business starts to ramp up and it makes sense to ramp up the professionalism and details, you can always graduate to QuickBooks.  The important thing is to keep good records.
