Pastor Looking to Coach CEOs
Question
I am a pastor looking to launch a CEO coaching service to help them with the development and implementation of a vision for how to transform their companies into a Christian-led, Biblically-operated company. I have developed a process that includes discipleship and setting the tone of the company. However, I have no idea how much to charge for this service. Any thought on where to begin?
Answer
I'd recommend that you meet with a few high-potential prospects that you know well that will give you good feedback on both the idea, its value, and whether or not they would be willing to pay for it, etc. Anything less than talking to real customer prospects is mere speculation.
You should also benchmark your value proposition against other organizations that are doing similar things such as Corporate Chaplains of America, C12 Group, and Convene, among many others. They all have different offerings and different (if not free) pricing models. In some cases similar to this, you might find it easier to join an existing organization to leverage their know how and brand rather than build one from scratch.
Also, I recommend that you use our Venture Analysis tool to further analyze the idea and its merit as you get more feedback from the market.
