What would you say the most critical foundational skill is required to run a small business?Answer
I feel that the most critical skill in ramping up your own small business is sales and marketing. Most businesses fail, not because of a flawed strategy or flawed product or service, but because of a lack of a sufficient level of sales. Many would-be entrepreneurs fail to adequately answer the question of the value proposition: Why do I need your product/service? What value does your product/service deliver to me? Why your company? Why now?
