Skill Shortages

Question

How do I compensate for personal weaknesses or skill shortages in a sole proprietor business venture?

Answer

I recommend that you only focus on acquiring skills that you will use repeatedly and not on skills that will be rarely used.  You can acquire frequently used skills by either acquiring those skills directly or by hiring trained staff.  In order to acquire skills directly I recommend self-study, online classes, internships or apprenticeships.  Rarely used skills can be sourced through partners, contractors or outsourcers.
