The most useful document for you to use is the download under Resources/Raising Capital called Legal Template: Term Sheet. It has 15 pages of key negotiated items for a venture investment and is the first document signed prior to deep due diligence. It then becomes the source document for all of the other key documents regarding a venture investment.
